Assessment methods include the followings:

Traditional examination.

Project (report, portfolio) assessment: A report may be oral or prepared in written form.
·
Continuous assessment. The student is assessed for the performance of minor tasks and is under constant monitoring without a separate examination.

Thesis assessment before defense: involves the assessment of:

the competence for autonomous work with information and its analysis and synthesis on the basis of the review of literature on the theme of the thesis.

the competence for work with computer data processing software according to the methods of data processing used in the thesis and the graphic or digital presentation of results.
-
the scientific language of the thesis and the capacity for presenting the results obtained to an informed audience.

The originality of ideas and written work via plagiarism assessment.

Thesis defense and review by the supervisor and examination committee which assess the acquiring of the competences and abilities obtained by the student:

to understand essential facts, concepts, principles and theories linked with the theme of the thesis

capacity for applying them to the solution of problems

ability to evaluate and interpret critically the data obtained

ability to provide arguments for thoughts and ideas

competence for work with information (the student‘s ability to find information independently or only to use information sources given by the teacher).
