Meeting of the Advisory Board of the College of Pharmacy

The Advisory Council of the School of Pharmacy/University of Jordan held a meeting today, chaired by Prof. Rula Darwish, Dean of the Faculty, and attended by the Vice Dean and members of the Faculty's Advisory Council.

During the meeting, the work plan for the Faculty of Pharmacy for the current year was discussed, as well as the comprehensive plan program - dividing the University of Jordan into zones (ZONING) launched by the University of Jordan, which aims to rehabilitate the eastern facade of the university, improve pedestrian and vehicle traffic, plan open spaces and gardens, and achieve environmental sustainability / implementing water harvesting systems.

The job readiness program, placement of pharmacy college programs, Jordanian accreditation, and internal evaluation of the pharmacy college, which is one of the top colleges in the University of Jordan, were also discussed.

The strategic plan and its eight objectives were discussed, including goals and performance indicators, among them the requirements for the King Abdullah II Award for Public Universities, which the University of Jordan recently received.

During the meeting, a short video was shown about the college's new laboratories (the intravenous solutions preparation laboratory).

At the end of the meeting, the dean and council members toured the college facilities to explore the possibility of implementing the zoning plan.
