The first day of the honorary professors meeting

 

As part of the activities of the first honorary professors' forum at the University of Jordan, the College of Pharmacy hosted five honorary professors: Dr. Iman Abu Gharbiyeh, Professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Sharjah, Dr. Claire Anderson, Professor of Pharmaceutical Practice from the University of Nottingham, Dr. Martin Henman, Professor of Pharmacy from the University of Dublin, and Dr. Beverly Glass is Professor of Public Health from James Cook University and Dr. Thaqif Khasawneh is Professor of Experimental Trauma Surgery and Regenerative Medicine from the University of Giessen, Germany.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Dean of the College, Dr. Rula Darwish, welcomed the honorary professors, praising their efforts and contributions in the field of pharmacy.

This meeting included an introduction to the main committees in the college and their role in developing pharmacy programs and pharmaceutical practice.

There was a lengthy discussion about training in the college, and the honorary professors presented some suggestions for developing training.

At the end of the first day, a field tour of the college was conducted.
