The University of Jordan (UJ) has been granted the Institutional Quality Assurance Certificate for a four-year period by the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Commission for Higher Education Institutions (AQACHEI), following the university’s fulfillment of all accreditation standards under decision No. (10/2025).
This milestone reflects UJ’s continued commitment to academic and administrative excellence, and its vision to serve as a national model in education, research, and community engagement.
UJ President Prof. Nathir Obeidat affirmed that this achievement underscores the university’s unwavering dedication to fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement. He added that the university will continue to strengthen its programs and systems to ensure sustainable excellence across all domains.
Vice President for Quality & Local Accreditation Prof. Amira Taher Masri emphasized that attaining the Institutional Quality Assurance Certificate represents the collective effort of all university units and faculties, reflecting UJ’s consistent pursuit of development and adherence to the Commission’s standards.
In addition, the Commission also recognized the School of Agriculture, the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, the School of Pharmacy, and the School of Educational Sciences for their excellence in academic and institutional performance.
