The Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Jordan is proud of the achievement of the Galaxy of Pharmacy team, which represented the faculty with distinction, and achieved a wonderful accomplishment by winning first place at the level of medical colleges, and fourth place at the university level, among (23) participating projects in The "Start from Jordan - 2025" competition is a competition focused on entrepreneurship and innovation. The team includes Alaa Alaria (Faculty of Pharmacy), Iyad Abu Zeina (Cybersecurity major), and Nour El-Din Yousef Al-Bastanji (Artificial Intelligence major), and is supervised by Dr. Hamza Al-Momani, a specialist in pharmaceutical digital marketing at the Faculty of Pharmacy.
The team presented an innovative project on online pharmacy simulation, a pioneering project that combines pharmacy, artificial intelligence, and interactive gaming elements to provide a digital educational experience that mimics the real-life experience in pharmacies.
This achievement is the fruit of the college's ambitious vision to support excellence and creativity. The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Rula Darwish, expressed her pride in the achievement and the importance of such pioneering initiatives, as well as the need to promote a culture of research and development and integrate modern technology into pharmaceutical education.
