​Activities of the second and final day of the Honorary Professors Forum at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Jordan

With the generous presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Rula Darwish, and a select group of faculty and administrative staff, and with the broad participation of graduate students (master's and doctoral), the activities of the second day of the Honorary Professors Forum concluded amidst a distinguished scientific atmosphere and great interaction from the attendees.

 

The program began with three scientific sessions presented by honorary professors, covering topics of critical importance to researchers and graduate students:

*Dr. Sabiha Ishaq (University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa)

"How to Conduct a Scoping Review"

- She reviewed the methodological foundations for preparing a structured exploratory review in health research, highlighting its importance in building a coherent research foundation.

*Dr. Thaqeef Al-Khasawneh (University of Giessen, Germany)

"Funding Opportunities for Postgraduates"

- He gave a comprehensive presentation on the mechanisms for searching for and applying for research grants, emphasizing the importance of scientific formulation and linking the research idea to the objectives of the funding agency.

*Dr. Jenny Scott (University of Bristol, UK)

"Key Elements of a Strong Proposal"

- Discussed the essential elements that make a research proposal successful, from formulating hypotheses to implementing and evaluating plans.

At the conclusion of this distinguished scientific day, the College of Pharmacy extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to the honorary professors for their valuable participation and enrichment of the academic dialogue. It also appreciates the active attendance of faculty members and graduate students who contributed to the success of this forum.
