UJ and Dar Al Dawa Sign Agreement to Hold “Innovative Pharmacists”

The University of Jordan (UJ) signed with Dar AL Dawa Development & Investment a cooperation agreement that aims to hold a scientific competition for the students of the School of Pharmacy entitled “Innovative Pharmacists”.

The agreement was signed by the Dean of the School of Pharmacy Dr. Abla Bsoul and Dar AL Dawa General Manager Eng. Khalid Al-Kurdi.

The competition according to the agreement aims to encourage students on employing the academic theoretical side in practical life through investing their skills and abilities to find inventive solutions for many of the challenges and issues that face the pharmaceutical field.

Bsoul pointed out to the importance of establishing partnerships with the private sector in general and Dar al Dawa in particular.

She added that the School aims, within its strategies, to develop the skills of students in facing challenges, such as critical thinking, self-education and team work.

For his part, Al-Kurdi praised partnership with the University for the service of the pharmaceutical field and scientific research. He pointed that this agreement is only the beginning of a fruitful cooperation with the School.
The event was attended by the Vice President for Scientific Schools of the University Prof. Zaid Baqain and a number of faculty members and officials from the company.
