Faculty Aims and Objectives • Implement international accreditation standards for professional programs. • Sustain excellence in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and maintain high academic standards. • Provide broad-based, scientifically strong, contemporary education in Pharmacy that equips the graduates to enter all areas of the profession and to adapt to changes that may occur during their professional life. • Develop and enhance students' skills in problem solving, critical thinking, team work and self-learning. • Graduate students who are able to communicate and deliver pharmaceutical care both in community and hospital settings. • Graduate students who are able to take professional responsibilities for manufacturing and testing of medicinal products. • Ensure that students acquire clear understanding of their professional and ethical responsibilities towards their communities and humanity at large. • Promote and support active student involvement in the profession, community service and voluntary activities. • Widen access to higher education by graduating highly competent students that are capable of carrying out postgraduate studies at local and international universities. • Participate in the process of improving and implementing Drug policy in Jordan in cooperation with public and private sectors. • Improve health care services provided to patients. • Cooperate with local and international Pharmaceutical industries in the field of research in order to develop new drugs and delivery systems. • Contribute to the advancement of the profession through independent, collaborative research, presentations and publications.
